I like to play with new things and learn new skills, along the way I tend to make them public sites.

In 2007 I built (OK I contracted to have built), my home. The house is an over engineered set of systems, from the Geothermal Heating and cooling, to sun tunnels, Bib insulation and of course a full server room. The house site is www.217.done-that.com, check out the live data of heating/cooling. The HVAC system is a collection of microprocessors, one-wire sensors, direct interfaces to Geothermal system, Domestic hot water all driven by afflicts utilizing Servers Data base and data going back 15 years based on 1 min intervals to ensure we have the most comfortable living at the least cost.
Well you can't track true Geothermal efficiency without weather data so a Raspberry-pi based weather system (based on FOSS Python project)
